How do I decide which medal or award to purchase?
For each medal we have a detailed description which includes the weight and dimensions and what finish is available for that product, which will help you with your buying decision. If you need any further advise please feel free to contact us by e-mail or phone.
If I approve the proof then I change my mind and want to make amendments or cancel my order is this possible?
We will always try and assist you should you want to change the order, however if the order has gone in to production, unfortunately we would not be able to change or cancel your order.
What happens when I approve the proof?
Once you have approved the proof back to our studio via email, the order will go in our production schedule and be shipped 7 business days from approval of artwork.
If when I receive the visual/proof I am not happy with this can I make changes?
Yes, we are happy to make one change to your proof. Any additional changes that require reproofing will be an additional charge.
Will the visual proof show the options I have chosen for my medal or award, for example engraving to the front and rear?
Yes, the visual will show any of the options you have chosen.
From placing my order when will I receive a visual proof?
Our studio will send you a visual proof within 1 business day (M-F). (Excluding major US Holidays)
Can I get a visual of what my medal or award will look like prior to placing an order on the website?
Our policy is to only supply a visual proof once an order is placed.
How do I work out the price for the medal or award I want to purchase?
When you select the medal you want to purchase, a pricing grid will appear showing the cost based on the quantity you wish to order. It will also display any additional fees for optional extras you choose.
How and when do I pay for my order?
You pay at the time of placing your order on our website which accepts credit/debit cards.
How or when do I send you my logo or information I want on the medal or award?
When you are choosing what you want to purchase there is an upload button for the artwork and this is where you attach your logo or artwork. There is also a box where you type in any instructions for our Studio.
Will I get a payment receipt when I place my order?
Yes you will receive a full order confirmation and final invoice.
What is included in a medal order?
Free proofing plus one round of revisions, custom medal, and plain colored ribbon. The only things that are not included are optional extras like personalization, rear printing or engraving. Shipping is included for orders over $200, and any orders under $200 would be a flat rate of $12 for shipping in the lower 48 United States.
When will I receive my order?
Once you have approved the visual/proof back to our studio, we will confirm a ship date to you, which will be 7 business days from approval. Most shipments will arrive 2-4 days depending on your location from our Midwest facility.
Who will be delivering my order?
Our courier is UPS.
Will I receive tracking for my order?
Yes, you will receive an email notification from UPS which will say your order from Medal Studio has been shipped. If you click on the link, you will be able to track the order. Be sure to supply an accurate email that you have access to inorder to receive updated shipping information.
Do I have to be in to receive my order or sign for my order?
We do not require a signature upon delivery of your items. However, please note that we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We recommend ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery or using a secure location.
If I am a returning customer how do I place a repeat order?
Please place the order on our website and you can write in the instruction box it is a repeat order and put the order number and logo name if known.
What is the difference between a stock item and a custom product?
We keep a variety of stock shapes on hand at our facility, where we handle printing, engraving (wood & acrylic only), and doming in-house. Our stock shapes are ideal for smaller quantities and tight lead times. For larger orders (100+), custom cut medals are made to order and become more cost-effective at higher volumes.
Can I submit more than one piece of art?
Yes! Our site is set up to accept only one file at a time so may submit one piece of art and once uploaded it will allow for another submission. If you have any issues uploading files you can also email [email protected] for assistance.
I have a non-profit and we have a tax exempt number how do I give you that number?
You will need to create an account through our website in doing so it will allow you to upload you tax exempt document. Afterwards it will allow you to tick the tax exempt box on the order page.
